One of the biggest scams going on in the church today is the promise of prosperity and folks will give their lasts and get nothing because it was not a real word from the Lord. This makes it hard for the real prophets who really have heard a word from the Lord. A Prophet who says that God told them to tell the people to give or come up with schemes to manipulate people is what I like to call “profits” that are out only for their own profit. The problem is that the “profit” usually mixes the prophecy with a little truth, so it is difficult to discern who is real or false because they all seem to be anointed. Another thing that I witnessed is the selling of prophecies…I am not talking about a love offering, I am talking about a specified amount solicited for a personal word from the prophet (or should I say profit).

 

God is not pleased! Don’t let your prophetic gift turn into a profit scam. Speak only what God says…don’t sell your prophecy.
